Graving Nature
Since man makes art nature has been a source of inspiration to artists and crafts people. In our present-day reality it is not hard to see why many artist address this theme. It may be an appeal to treat our planet better, or simply a worship of the beauty of nature.The artist chosen for this exhibition each have their own relationship to the theme.

Do It Yourself by Cat Priem
Sunday October 14th in the Afrika Museum in Berg en Dal, Cat Priem will assist you with your designs. Dureing the rest of the exhibition ‘SIERADEN - makers & dragers’ you will be able to create your own jewelry designs in the work space.
Cat Priem, in collaboration with Brigitte Buitenhuis, has developed a jewelery concept that matches the exhibition Sieraden - makers & dragers. Make your own design or work from an example and, if you wish, become part of the exhibition as a maker and as a wearer! Young and old can make their own jewelry with a collection of materials, referencing the diversity of material choice in the exhibited works. Via tjis fun concept, you will be able to get acquainted with basic goldsmith techniques.

SIERADEN - makers & dragers
13 December 2017 until 3 June 2018 in Museum Volkenkunde, Leiden
With this exhibition, the Museum Volkenkunde presents the largest collection of jewelery in a Dutch museum ever. Jewelry from the museum collection is supplemented by contemporary jewelry from leading designers from around the world. More than 1000 works in total, guarantee plenty of viewing pleasure, surprise and admiration. Work by Cat Priem has also been lent for this exhibition.

From the 12 until 17th of April several Dutch designers, including Cat Priem, artisan producers and design agencies present themselves at the Dutch pavilion at the Salon del Mobile in the centre of Milan. At the fascinating Palazzo Francesco Turati the Dutch pavilion arises with the best design and artisan craftsmanship the Netherlands has to offer. Les Bijoux Gemmes is a jewellery exhibition organized by Pôle Bijou. It takes place from July the 5th until October the 31st, 2010 in Baccarat, France. Cat has been asked to redesign one of Annabel Winship's shoes along the summer trends of 2009. You can see the shoe from the 16th of July until the 26th of August in the Paris fashion store Le Printemps on the corner of Rue de Provence and Boulevard Haussmann.
Wonderland Through the Looking Glass in KAdE
